It began as an experimentation and became one of my favorite and most literal abstracts. Not planned this way, I realized at some point that something like a pool and a cave was taking shape.
Very little pre-planning goes into any of my artwork. I do my best to just let go and let things happen intuitively.
It's one of my best and was painted during a time where I felt very strongly for someone but didn't want to call it what it was. (love)
The bright, passionate bursts of color juxtaposed with an airy atmospheric quality, ephemeral washes and pastels represent the softness, complexity and range of this emotion.

All artwork in this show is available at a very special price.
Being at their side feels like everything you could ever want or need. It feels like the sky opening up, it feels like everything all at once and never wanting that feeling to end.

This piece was sold in the Summer of 2017 to Keystone Property Group in Pennsylvania.
